The most fantastical aspect of this trailer: original content. Heeyyyyyyy its close to my birthday. Im getting Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade vibes from this, in a good way. I got an ad w the same trailer before the vid start lol. If I had to guess I think the main reason Minty Zaki was changed is that the reference wouldn't click with Japanese people. First of all because name order is different. He is Miyazaki Hayao in Japan, with surname coming first. Second of all because the name Miyazaki is represented by kanji which are pronounced differently in different contexts. 宮崎 is read as Miyazaki, but just 崎 is Misaki. Third of all, Hayao Miyazaki is the only famous person with the last name Miyazaki famous in the west, there are many people named Miyazaki and in fact there is a Miyazaki prefecture in Japan. All in all, it's like if a Japanese movie had a character named Mike Cole and thought westerners would perceive it as a reference to Michael Eisner. It would go over absolutely everyone's heads.
